| Tapal's Office Supplies Inc.
A rather large office building settled in the very center of the old city. Hanging from the top are the remains of a large sign declaring Tapal's Office Supplies Inc. in big bold letters. The front doors used to be glass, but the glass has long been missing, allowing entrance to anyone who wishes to explore the many rooms of the place.

| Ysar Elementary
This old elementary school was first erected when the city was founded. It has been renovated many times, growing in size. But now all that remains is an empty building with a broken playground in back.

| Ipaut Square
Once the busiest four-way intersection in the city, Ipaut now sits vacant. The stoplights have all but disintegrated from lack of maintenance and nature's wrath. The road is cracked and split by weeds, one lonely tree growing almost perfectly centered in the middle of the place.

| Costah Market
Unusual for big cities, Shakta has its own open-air market. Named the Costah, it was famous nearly the world around for its high quality goods and low prices. Now all that is left of it are a few vendor tents and rusted antiques.

| Outskirts of Shakta City |
| Ushom Community
Built on the edge of the wilderness, this housing community is only half finished. Though a good twenty houses are finished, only five ever held human families. The rest were vacant since erection. At the end of the lane there are two or three houses that are merely just wooden frames with no walls.

| Tesip Farm
This farm used to be owned by the Tesip family. They were a kindly people who kept everything in tiptop shape. Without their presence, the place has gone to absolute ruin. All the buildings are rotting away, and the fields are overgrown with weeds. The remnants of a dirt road leads to the place.

| Arkail's Junkyard
Though it was never in good shape to begin with, this place looks horrible. In the very center, taking up most of the place, there is huge pile of scrap metal with brown weeds growing from the cracks. An old shack stands in one corner where Arkail used to reside. But it has long since rotted and collapsed in on itself.

| Bariel Graveyard
A large graveyard where all inhabitants of Shakta were buried when they died, this area has a haunted feel about it. Though nothing has been proven, some say that they have seen the ghosts of humans walking around or weeping against gravestones. There is even a rumor that the ghost of a long dead dog roams the place, searching for its master.

| Keelit Falls
A magnificent waterfall measuring well over 150 feet from top to bottom. Flowing directly from an aquifer that jets from the cliff-side, the swift current goes straight down into a large pool of crystal clear water. The pool drains away in a number of small streams.

| Giche Woods
A large section of forest surrounded by pine trees, Giche is dense and hard to navigate. If one weren't careful, they could easily become lost and never get out again. Mostly populated by maple trees, there are a few great oaks scattered throughout.

| Irrot Cabin
Once used by the famous hunter, Joseph Irrot, this old log cabin is still in a fair condition. Though the door is missing, the rest of the place looks as if it was left alone for only a week. Settled by Soksirre Pond, it is often visited by inquisitive animals. The scent of human has long since faded, the last one having been here thirty years ago.

| Soksirre Pond
A small pond only a hundred feet in diameter, it holds a plethora of interesting things. Ducks and geese often cruise the waters, hawks gliding overhead to prey on fish and small animals. The water is murky and green, algae growing anywhere it can. Watch your step, the banks are slippery and you might just find yourself swimming with the fish.
