WELCOME
Welcome to Locke Domain!
- If you are looking for dogs of all breeds, Shakta City should be the place you visit. Dogs rule here, roaming the dead city in packs and gangs.
- If you are a more feral type, then you will find the wolves in the wilderness. Ranging as both loners and packs, the strong and proud wolves dominate their terrain.
- The outskirts of Shakta City is a dangerous place where you will meet both dogs and wolves. Watch your step, for no one truly owns these places.
- Following their canine companions are birds of any species called familiars. Bound to their partners by mysterious means, when one is hurt, the other is also affected.
Weather
The boiling temperatures have cooled considerably, leaving the air pleasantly cool. Leaves are turning colors and dropping from their trees, bringing the forests alive with vibrant colors. Squirrels are becoming much more active, trying to gather the last nuts for their storage before winter hits. Perhaps to become easy prey.

Keamara Sat on the well worn down pebbles.Vampter was of course perched on top of her light colored head. Many things where going on inside Kea's mind. From Thinking about her family to why this building in front of her still stood. On A sudden impulse she stood up and took off at a run toward the abandoned school building.Aiming for the run down playground she whipped her body around the small trees and bushes that blocked her path.
After about a full minute she stood smack dab in the middle of the rusted play stuff.A near by swing swayed calmly with the wind. Each time it came back a Sharp grating sound could be heard. With bright eyes she glanced around at the place.Mind racing she extended her long legs and trotted over to the swings.Moving forward bit by bit she prodded the rubber seat with her nose.In response it moved a little.Kea jumped back with a slight sneeze of surprise.Vampter,Now on her shoulder, flapped his large wings creating a small amount of gusting wind.

The approach was slow but liquid like. Length easing gaits carried a pelt as dark as a shadow through the cool evening air. There was something drawing the male into the area, a scent that carried thick on a cool breeze and pressed at his sences eagerly. Raven did all she could to keep up with the quickening lopes of the male as he flew acrossed the landscape. At last his gait shortened and less power was put into his lope as he eased his speed slowly into a more leasured trot. Though his head remained high to keep with the feminine scent that clung to the air and gripping at his nose, refusing to let go and release his mind from the entrancement.
A thirst for company drew him closer and as he drifted into the shadow of a building he at last took in its elderly features. Large entrance doors, met with glass panes small and only showing a slit of what lay inside, peeling pants trailed down the great doors, though its colour could no longer be made clear. His amber hues flashed to a gap in the windows, the glass had been shattered and scattered against the ground, giving a soft 'klink' against itself as his paws nudged against the rounded surface lightly. The interaction was brief, the sound was met with a glance then an absent growl as he loped over the scatterings and made his way off to investigate the scents further.
As he rounded the corner of the building he caught sight of the playground. Nothing but a tarmacked peice of land showing the odd bit of rusty, neglected items. A slide, one of those things that moved up and down with the weight of the beings they held and those things that swing back and forward. But it was not the swings that attracted his attention so, it was the female, stood beside them. Investigating the noisy things. She seemed surprised by their movements and as he tilted his head, taking a moment to observe the silvery white furred wolf he took in many things about her. She was nicely built, muscular but slender, bright eyes that seemed so vibrant compared to his dull amber optics. A bright and beuatiful pelt that contrasted so to his own. And a familiar, a falcon with tawny feathers. The two of them amazing and beuatiful creatures, so much so that even Raven could only stand and stare with awe.
